The utility companies have changed considerably since their privatisation, helped by the involvement of companies such as CEVA Logistics.

CEVA operates within the water, gas and electricity industries providing engineering support for routine and emergency situations. Deliveries can include those to the middle of field or the side of the road requiring specific skills in location and materials handling.

Specialist vehicles such as those carrying fork lift trucks and for planting telegraph poles are included in the facilities provided.

Products delivered can range from a coffee mug to a generator.
